®RUCO-FLAM NUV
For textiles, preferably of PES or PA as well as cellulosic materials or their blends with synthetic fibres
Field of application: Pad process
Chemical Basis: Preparation of inorganic and organic salts, halogen and antimony-trioxide-free
Ionic Character: No charge
Form: Liquid
Due to the low solubility of the components applied, the products are resistant to soaking. This is mainly required by the furniture industry and carried out according to the so-called soaking test BS 5651. The specimen is placed for 30 min in a 40°C-warm water bath, without any mechanical stress, however.
®RUCO-FLAM SCO
Soak-resistant flame retardant, preferably for cellulose or its blends with synthetic fibres according to BS 5852
Field of application: Pad process
Chemical Basis: Preparation of organic and inorganic salts, halogen and antimony-trioxide-free
Ionic Character: Weakly anionic
Form: Liquid
®RUCO-FLAM PCE
Durable flame-retardant finish of textiles made of cellulose, preferably for workwear, children’s pyjamas, home textiles and military purposes
Field of application: Pad process
Chemical Basis: Reactive organophosphorous compound, halogen and antimony-trioxide-free
Ionic Character: No charge
Form: Liquid
®RUCO-FLAM PSY-E
Permanent flame-retardant finish of decorative articles or upholstery fabric made of PES or PES/PA, confers a soft handle
Field of application: Pad process
Chemical Basis: Alkylphosphonate, halogen and antimony-trioxide-free
Ionic Character: No charge
Form: Liquid
With cellulosic fibres, the flame retardant forms a chemical bond with the fibres‘ reactive groups, which is a complicated process and described in detail in a separate Rudolf-Info (see RI 23/13). The PES and PA fibres are thermally opened after the application of the flame retardant so that it can deposit. This is the so-called thermosol process. The flame-retardant effects obtained are highly wash-resistant on cellulosic, PES and PA fibres.
RUDOLF Pakistan offers strong solutions for the textile industry! We are happy to assist you in implementing the process on your articles.
